Ashwin Mittal is the Executive Chairman of C5i, driving long-term strategy, innovation in AI, mergers and acquisitions, corporate social responsibility, and brand initiatives. A key force behind C5i’s growth as a founder since 2003, Ashwin served as CEO from 2016 to 2024, shaping the company into a global leader in AI and analytics solutions. He leads the company with the purpose of amplifying human potential and driving accelerated impact for clients and the community through the ideal combination of human and machine intelligence.

An early advocate of AI-driven transformation, Ashwin established C5i’s AI Labs in 2017, an R&D unit leveraging Generative AI & other advanced technologies to drive amplified value for global clients. He has been recognized among India’s top AI leaders, featured as one of the 11 “foundational AI market leaders” among “100 Most Influential AI Leaders in India 2024” and “10 Most Influential Analytics Leaders in India” by Analytics India Magazine (AIM) and on Economic Times’ “Promising Entrepreneurs of India.”

Ashwin is a founding member of Mumbai Angels, holds board positions in several companies, and actively contributes to CSR initiatives focused on child and youth development. He holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson and London Business School, is a Chartered Accountant, and recently completed the Harvard Business School Owner/President Management Program.
